Mobile Messenger
My phone gave up on me! Drat what a disaster. I was forced to buy a new one. I got a Nokia 5800. Why? Beats me! I sometimes just buy stuff. Ummm I'd rather not talk about that but what is good about the Nokia 5800 is that it has wifi! And this app is the first thing that I put in it. Fring is one of the best messenger app for any phone OS. Heck! If the phone can support java I think they have support for it. Fring supports YM, AIM and other major instant messengers. Skype is also supported.
According to the site: Using your handset′s internet connection, you can interact with friends on all your favourite social networks including Skype®, MSN Messenger®, Google Talk™, ICQ, SIP, Twitter, Yahoo!™ and AIM®. You can listen to music with your Last.fm friends, check out what each other are up to on Facebook, receive alerts of new Google Mail™ and tailor make your very own fring by adding more cool experiences from fringAdd-ons™.
The app is really nice and has an integrated GUI which really simplifies an IM lover's life. Download Fring here
