Ah Pity The Fool....

...who would screw up the A-Team film. Yup! The A-Team! The film will be produced by Oscar winning director Ridley Scott and his lesser known brother Tony. Joe Carnahan, who wrote and directed 2006’s Smokin’ Aces, will direct. The film is due out in June 2010. If they make B.A. Baracus a white guy then its all over.

Make Your Own Barack Obama Inaugural Speech

If you kept your eyes stuck on the boob tube for Obama's speech and was really impressed why not make your own. Sources say that he made his own speech for the historic event but all of us are too busy with stuff so why not try this.

A Young Man Bought A Ticket To Hell

Zachary Moir, 19 year old man was arrested because of attacking his mother with a taco. The mother tried to call the young man downstairs to eat dinner but to no avail, so she unplugged his XBOX but the man assaulted his mother.

According to Fox 35:
Dena Moir says she went upstairs and unplugged the game, that's when she says Zachary pushed her and called her a bad name. "I've been having trouble with him for awhile won't work, wont' go to school. "

“He went ahead and hit me with the taco and I got taco all over my shirt and kitchen. I’ve threatened to call police before. But anyway this time, I thought he went too far so I called police and he's in jail now.”

Moir says Zachary has tried to call several times, but she's not picking up the phone yet. She says she's going to let him sit in his jail cell in Volusia County for a few days to teach him a lesson.

Well we have to respect our parents, especially when they try to make you dinner. If you dislike them just get out of the freaking house. What a waste of food.

I Never Thought Vader and Dr. Doom Could Ever Be This Cute

Got these bad boys last Christmas. I never thought that a villain could ever be this cute. Found out there are a lot of types of Mighty Muggs and now I will try to collect the baddies that I have loved from Indiana Jones, Transformers, GI Joe, Star Wars and Marvel comics.

Oh No They Didn't

I am a Star Wars fan. Yup! I admit it. To make Obi Wan Kenobi a baddie is blasphemy I tell you... blasphemy! The leaked concept art is from the fabled Star Wars: Battlefront III and it shows a Dark Obi Wan(uh oh). The developer is Free Radical which is currently it has shut down and the Battle Front sequel in the can(thank goodness!). another image after the break!

Yahoo Gets a New CEO, Google downsizing

story after the break

Yahoo! gets a new CEO! Carol Bartz, 60 replaces Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang as CEO. I wonder will the talks with Microsoft be renewed with this new leadership? What would this mean to the Yahoo! share holders? It seems new things would unfold in the months to come.

Google is downsizing its workforce. They are planning to reduce their recruiting division to 100 employees. As their official statement claim, they are hopeful that the axed recruiters would still find a job within the Google company. via Google Blog

Why So Serious?

If you think Brokeback Mountain was awesome, I think you will have to have your head checked. If you think Heath Ledger's acting is awesome then you are correct. The late Mr. Ledger has a bit of an eclectic filmography from his medieval era A Knights Tale, the skater classic Lords of Dogtown, the infamous Brokeback Mountain and as the Joker in The Dark Knight.

His performance in the Dark Knight is reputed as the best ever performance of any actor as The Joker (sorry Mr. Nicholson). His acting was eerie, funny, aggressive and any other adjective that I can think of. Now he has won the best supporting actor at the 66th Annual Golden Globe Award. The Dark Knight is the first superhero film to win an acting award(correct me if I am wrong).

Now the dilemma all fanboys face is the spectre of Joker not dying on the film. Who can ever replace Heath's performance? I think no one can. (for video and the look on Robert Downy's face click the link below)

Guys! look at Robert Downy's face it was as if he was saying "I am Iron Man and the Joker beat me? whats the deal?

Tilt the Shift

There are things that draw people into photography the love of nature, capturing a moment or just for plain fun. The hard part in taking photos is post-processing. Many a shots have been taken that are wasted. Why waste those shots tilt shift it or take shots for the purpose of tilt-shift right on the bat. You don't need Photoshop or any other image editing material just upload your pic into the TiltShiftMaker site and adjust your focus and in a matter of seconds you'll have instant miniaturized pictures.

what is tilt-shift?
Tilt-shift miniature style photos are pictures of real-life scenes that are manipulated to look like model photographs.

via Medyo Gwapo
Tilt-Shift-Maker Site

How to use it after the break!

How to use

Image of Santorini from TiltShiftMaker Site

Move the vertical slider on the right of the original photo to select the area in focus.

Use the "Preview" button to see the results then "Get full size" when done, to get a link to the full size image. Creating and downloading the full size image may take a while, depending on original photo size and other factors.

Note: The Preview is meant as a low quality version only - it's better to download the full size image and resize it down if you want a small version of the picture.

The size of the area in focus can be adjusted using the horizontal slider, from "narrow" (a small area in focus) to "wide" (a larger area in focus).

Tilt-shift miniatures often look better with vivid colors. Some photos may have already had their colors adjusted though. In this case, the "Enhance colors" checkbox can be unchecked to avoid over-enhancement of the image.

Does part of the picture look good but the rest of it is not so good? Consider saving the picture fullsize and then select and copy/paste out the best area as a new image.

Fanboy To The Extreme:Legend of Zelda Theme Violin Edition

The Legend of Zelda series is one of the best loved video game series ever. From the innovative gameplay, awesome bosses, memorable good-guys and an ethereal theme song the "Zelda" series was a perennial best seller.

Now we go to the theme music Master Diwa brings the term fanboy to the extreme with his rendition of the Legend of Zelda theme using his beautiful voice and wicked violin playing. I almost cried hearing his awesome and very hard to follow opus.

Why is This Vaio So Darn Cute?

Nope this is not the Vaio DS its the latest Sony Vaio powered by a 1.33Ghz Atom processor, nipple mouse, 2GB of RAM and the whole standard netbook stuff. The built-in 3G is one of its main draws. What I love about this Vaio is its XMB like instant-on OS which is very intuitive. What I hate about it is its price 900++ dollars for a netbook? No way! That price is in macbook territory. Oh, Sony insists this is not a netbook but you know better right? More pics after the break.

Will This Kick GTA 4's Butt?

Yeah there are plenty of sandbox games around and GTA 4 is top dog among them. Enter Prototype, you fill the shoes of Alex Mercer, amnesiac but with superhuman strength, speed, agility, durability and healing. The most awesome power he has the ability to absorb the memories, shape and strengths of his fallen enemies and also can reshape his body parts into claws, shields, armour or spikes. To really appreciate the game watch the teaser(above). It would be available for PS3,XBOX360 and PC. There is no word on a release date yet.

PSP 3000 Hacked? Is this the real deal?

I have posted about the Datel Light Blue Tool a few months ago and I have not yet received a positive feedback on its capabilities to run homebrews.

Hopes are dim for running homebrew on the PSP 3000 a few months back but now an exploit has been found negating the need for a Lite Blue Tool. The exploit has been found on the GripShift game save if you rename the save "this is sparta...." with 57 a's in the end. It is now available for download along with the corresponding SDK.

Tips in Increasing Your Plurk Karma

I have been really frustrated with increasing my karma because as we all know, Plurk is pretty stingy in giving away that precious karma(why Plurk? whyyyy?). Then I stumbled upon this ever so important tips. (Tips after the break)

Know The Plurk Intervals: Know thy intervals, it will be the difference between a good influx of karma and a decreasing one. The intervals are approximately 12:05 am, 4:05 am, 8:05 am, 12:05 pm, 4:05 pm, and 8:05 pm (Universal time).

Plurking at intervals will yield better karma than plurking all at one time. By doing so, you will have a moderate increasing karma rather than fluctuating from a decrease, increase and so on.

Responding at intervals is also good because of the same principle as above.

Beware of plurking and responding with useless banter because friends might remove you as their friend which will drastically decrease your karma.

Inviting new friends will give you a significant increase!

Use your mobile when you can't plurk for longer periods of time.

Trust me these stuff work. I had a karma of 70 when I used to Plurk like an energizer bunny then I got busy and my karma plummeted to 38. Been using this for 2 weeks now and its been increasing ever since.
